Stageworks Theatre Society Otago Incorporated was formed in July 2011 to encourage participation in local theatre in Dunedin.

The idea came from a group of actors who had worked together on a number of productions. One of our core objectives is to give something back. We are completely self-funded, with no support from any arts body or corporate sponsor.

50% of profits are donated to a charity or group which will be nominated prior to the opening of the production.
